2015 is almost over and 2016 is rapidly approaching us. This is the time of year that business owners and managers usually look back and decide, “What did I do right?” and “What did I do wrong?” While I’m sure many of us (including myself) made a few miscalculated decisions over the years some will jump out at you more than others. With a little planning, you can make 2016 much better than 2015. While today’s economy still isn’t the same as it was 10/15 years ago it is still equally important to maintain or increase your marketing share with Promotional Products. Business owners have to be savvier and find the right Marketing methods to reach their potential customers. Not only do you have to reach your potential customers the right way, but you have to offer them something of value. Marketing with Promotional Products is a great way to reach people. After all, everyone loves free stuff, right? I know I do, if the “stuff” is useful to me. If I get “stuff” that is not useful to me, it sits in my drawer or gets thrown out. When thinking about your marketing plan, here are a few key points to identify:
- Who is my target audience?
- What is the preferred method of communication for my targeted audience?
- What type of promotional products would they use on a daily basis?
- What type of products or services that I sell would be beneficial to them?
- What type of price range fits my targeted audience?
In many cases, you may service customers of all age ranges. If that is case, you may need a plan to reach each age bracket. If you can take the time to identify these key points, your marketing dollars will become much more effective and hopefully 2016 will be a much better year for your business.
